Have you ever used cotton swaps when cleaning your home? They are probably one of my favourite cleaning tools ever. It’s so easier to cover hard-to-reach places which makes them extremely useful.
Here Is How I Use Them!
– Clean Keyboards
Our homes are filled with electronic devices, right? Yet we rarely clean them because we don’t really know how to do it. Before I discovered that I can use Q-tips to easily clean my keyboard I didn’t even bother with this chore. I just skipped it.
But let me tell you something – you can easily dip a cotton swap in rubbing alcohol and clean your computer keyboard.
– Clean My Hairbrushes
Another item that is very hard to clean – hairbrushes. Some soak them in hot soapy water and others try to scrub them with an old toothbrush but the easiest way to really leave your brush spotless is by… using a Q-tip.
After I am done soaking my brush in hot soapy water I rinse it and grab a cotton swab. I dip it in rubbing alcohol and wipe it.
– Clean The Interior of My Car
Can you think of a harder place to clean than those hard-to-reach areas of your car? For example – the door handles all the buttons inside of the car, and the vents.
Now, I easily cover them by using a Q-tip!
– Clean My Hairdryer
You have probably never even thought of cleaning the air vent of your hairdryer – but it’s more important than you think. If that part is dirty then the lifespan of your hairdryer is shorter.
So to ensure its long lifespan simply grab a Q-tip and wipe it across the vent (you will be surprised how dirty it actually is!).
